Alex is a freelance accompanist in London for a variety of clients and events. He is currently accompanist and arranger for the London Humanist Choir, which has led to performances with or alongside Stewart Lee, Phillip Pullman & Richard Dawkins, and has accompanied many choirs and vocalists in London venues including Sheldonian Theatre, Landsdowne Club & Conway Hall. In December 2015, he was accompanist and arranger for Sara Pascoe’s Christmas Assembly at the Battersea Arts Centre (4*’s The Guardian). Most recently, he played Keys 2 in Vivo D’Arte’s production of West Side Story (Frogmore Paper Mill, 2017) and was assistant M.D. for Vivo d’Arte’s immersive production of Sweeney Todd (Frogmore Paper Mill, 2016). Alex also served as head of Guildhall’s Musical Theatre Society between 2015 and 2017, alumni of which have gone on to star as Carlotta in “Phantom Of The Opera” on the west end and 5-star Edinburgh acapella Smash-Hit “Gobsmacked!”.
